Jean-François BescondJean-Francois Bescond (clarinet) received the French National Music Studies Diploma after studying with acclaimed teachers Guy Dangain (Orchestre National de France / Paris National Conservatory of Music), Jacques Niopel (Amiens Regional Conservatory), and Michel Gamblin, the last student of Louis Cahuzac and finalist of the Geneva International Music Competition.
In addition to regular performances as featured solo artist in festivals and events throughout Europe, Latin America, and Asia, Mr. Bescond is the principal clarinet of the ORCHESTRE PHILHARMONIQUE DE L'OISE, with which he often performs as a soloist He is also a member of the wind quintet, KALAIS, and the clarinet quintet, OCTAVE V CLARINET’ CAPRICCIO, which has toured in Europe, Latin America, and the United States. After playing for three years in the U.S. with the MARQUIS ENSEMBLE, Mr. Bescond created the TAJ TRIO in 2014 with pianist Tatsiana Dahan, from Belorussia, and French cellist Axel Salmona, a former student of the Lyon National Conservatory of Music and teacher at the Regional Music Conservatory of Normandy (Rouen).
