Massimo Mazzone

Massimo Mazzone graduated with top marks in 1979 at the “G.Verdi” Conservatory in Turin, with Professor Peppino Mariani. In 1980 he won the international contest at the E.C.Y.O. orchestra, and he played in the most prestigious European festivals with the conduction of H.Von Karajan and C.Abbado. From 1983 to 1992 he collaborated with the Independent Entity of “La Scala” Theater in Milan. He has performed an activity as first clarinet with the orchestras: Internazionale d’Italia, Foundation “A.Toscanini” in Parma, Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Foundation “Arena di Verona”, Orchestra of Lugano Radio broadcasting. He is currently first clarinet in the Orchestra Filarmonica in Turin. He performs as a soloist and in chamber music ensambles, nationally and 
internationally: Europe, United States, China, Japan,...

Alongside the performing activity is the teaching one; he has held clarinet Masters in Eastern countries, Europe and United States, and , since 1984 he has been clarinet full professor at the “G.F.Ghedini” Conservatory in Cuneo. He performs with “Artista” clarinets by the “Fratelli Patricola” Company.
